36 Days of Type 2021
It’s that time of year again! When everyone gets a chance to show off their animation design skills. Meantime enjoyed the 36 Days of Type challenge so much last year, even the Film team wanted in on the fun this time around! This year was a massive collaboration across the company. Dividing the letters and numbers up between the team, everyone got at least one animation design to work on, even Luke! Our personal favourites are ‘G’ and ‘X’, but which is yours?
Feel free to check out what both teams were able to come up with for this year’s challenge!
36 Days of Type is an awesome project that invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists to express their interpretation of the letters and numbers of the alphabet. An annual change to explore the creative boundaries of letterforms, where participants are challenged to design a letter or number each day for 36 days.
This is just a snapshot of the designs & animations the team put forward, so if you want to see each animation design in its full glory, feel free to browse our ‘newly-merged’ Instagram page!
Like what you see? Of course you do. If you would like to see our previous attempt at the challenge, you’ll find another blog here all about our 2020 video!
